Components for your production process - all from a single supplier

Oberaigner Powertrain develops and produces high-quality axles and gearboxes for the automobile industry in the field of very small and small series up to series having medium production rates.

Oberaigner’s offers therefore cover vehicle classifications from passenger cars to trucks, and the speed range extends from internal combustion machines to electrical machines, depending on the specific application.

The product range extends from complete axle modules for rigid axles and independent suspension via final drives and all-wheel drive transfer cases up to axle drives, reduction gear units and 2-speed manual gearboxes in the e-mobility sector.

Various different special gears meet the special wishes of customers for niche applications.

Core competence meets innovation

Alongside the virtually zero-loss transmission or drive power through central drives, Oberaigner also designs and conceptualises axle drives.

These are ideally suited to deployment in pure electric battery-powered vehicles as the front or rear wheel drive or as an all-wheel drive (E-AWD). Many years of experience in all-wheel drive technology enable Oberaigner to develop electrified axle drives both as a traction aid at low power and for the 48 Volt range in hybrid applications.

Oberaigner supplements its portfolio with competences in Torque Vectoring for highly-dynamic sports cars, on the one hand, and for drive train decoupling to increase efficiency in Eco mode, on the other.
