  • how we use this information;

We have taken the trouble to present as simple a representation as possible.

  • your consent
  • on a contract basis
  • in a justified interest

Gathering by web forms

This website does not have any forms for the gathering of personal data.

Cookies

We use so-called cookies to provide user-friendly surfing on this website. A cookie is a file that gathers information about your visit.

You can change your cookie settings in your browser’s settings at any time.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics - a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and which facilitate analysis of your use of the website. The information concerning your use generated by the Cookie (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to produce reports of the website activities for the website operator, and to produce additional services associated with the use of the website and the internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, provided that it is legally stipulated or insofar as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will never connect your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent installation of the Cookies using an appropriate setting on your browser; we would point out, however, that, in this case, it may be that not all the functions of the website can be used to their full extent. By using this website you declare your agreement to the processing of the data gathered about you by Google in the way described above and for the previously stated purpose.”

If Google Adsense, a Google Inc., USA (“Google”) advertising service, places advertising on this website (text ads, banners etc.), then your browser may save a Coolie sent by Google Inc. or third parties. The information stored in the Cookie can be recorded, gathered, and evaluated by Google Inc. or even by third parties. In addition, Google Adsense uses so-called “WebBacons” to gather information (small invisible graphics) to gather information, through the use of which simple actions such as the visitor traffic on the website can be recorded, gathered and evaluated. The information concerning your use of this website generated by the Cookie and/or Web Bacon is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses the information gathered in this way to carry out an evaluation of your using behaviour with regard to the Adsense ads. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, provided that it is legally stipulated or insofar as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google does not connect your IP address to other data stored by Google. You can prevent the storing of Cookies on your hard drive and the display of Web Bacons. In order to do this, you must select “Do not accept Cookies” in your browser settings (under “Extras / Internet Options / Data Protection / Settings” on Internet Explorer, under “Extras / Settings / Data Protection / Cookies” on Firefox).

Use of Google Search

This website uses Google Search for user-defined searching on the website. When Google Search is used, Google also generates, processes and utilises data concerning the use of the functions by the visitors to the website. The use of Google Search is carried out without authorisation and no Cookies are sent to Google API. If you have a Google account, none of your Google account details are transferred when using Google Search. Further information about data processing by Google can be obtained from the Google data protection notes at https://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. Here, in the data protection centre, you can also change your settings to allow you to manage and protect your data.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When Google Maps is used, Google also generates, processes and utilises data concerning the use of the map functions by the visitors. Further information about data processing by Google can be obtained from the Google data protection notes. Here, in the data protection centre, you can also change your personal data protection settings.

Detailed instructions for the management of your own data with regard to Google products can be found here.

Use of Script Libraries (Google WebFonts)

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appropriately on all browsers, we use script libraries and text libraries, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser cache to prevent multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts, or if access is denied, then the content will be displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or text libraries automatically triggers connection to the library operator. In this regard it is theoretically possible - although currently unclear whether and maybe also for what purpose - that operators of relevant libraries generate data.

The data protection directive of the Google library operator can be seen here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Facebook-Plugins (Like Button)

Our pages incorporate plugins from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The Facebook plugins can be recognised by the Facebook logo or the “Like Button” on our website. An overview of Facebook plugins can be seen here: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. If you visit our pages, the plugin is used to create a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. This provides Facebook with the information that you, and your IP address, have visited our page. If you click on the Facebook “like Button” when you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to your user account. We would point out that we, as provider of the pages, are not informed of the content of the transmitted data and the use of it by Facebook. Further information on this topic can be found in the Facebook data protection declaration at www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign your visit to our pages to your Facebook user account, then please log out of your Facebook user account.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the relative plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is created. This informs YouTube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by first logging out of your YouTube account.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider inserts a Cookie that gathers information about the user behaviour.

If someone has deactivated the storing of Cookies for the Google Ad programme, no Cookies of this sort are to be expected, even when viewing YouTube videos. However, YouTube rejects non-personal related user information in other Cookies. If you wish to prevent this, then you need to block saving of Cookies in the browser.

Further information concerning data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Social Plugins

On our website we use so-called Social Plugins (“Plugins”) from the social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). An overview of the Facebook Plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins

In order to increase protection of your data when visiting our website, the Plugins are incorporated in the page using so-called “2-click” or “Shariff” solutions. This incorporation ensures that, when calling up a page of our web presence that contains such Plugins, a connection to the Facebook servers is not yet created. Only if you activate the Plugins, and thereby giving your approval for data transfer, will your browser create a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the individual Plugin is transferred directly to your browser and incorporated in the page. The Plugin then transfers data (including your IP address) to Facebook. We have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook gathers with the aid of the Plugins. In accordance with our level of knowledge, Facebook will always get information as to which of our websites you have called up currently and previously. As a result of the incorporation of the Plugins, Facebook will also get the information that your browser has called up the relevant page of our website, if you do not have a profile at Facebook, or if you are not logged in at the present. This information (including your IP address) is transferred from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and saved there. If you interact with the Plugins, for example by actuating the “Like” button, the relevant information is also transferred directly to a Facebook server and saved there. The information is also published by Facebook and your contacts will be displayed there.

The purpose and scope of the data gathering and the subsequent processing and use of the data by Facebook, together with your associated rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be taken from the Facebook data protection notes at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you are a member of the Facebook social network and want to limit the gathering of data via our websites and the conjoining of your user data with the data about you saved at the social network Facebook, you should log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can completely prevent the loading of Facebook Plugins, also with Add-Ons for your browser for the future, e.g. using the Script Blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

SSL ENCRYPTION

In order to protect the security of your data during transfer, we use encryption processes in accordance with current state-of-the-art technology (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.  You can recognise an encrypted connection by the character sequence “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser line.
