Nissan Interstar 4x4
The perfect companion for rough tracks
Snow-covered roads, wet meadows, gravel, mud - the Nissan Interstar 4x4 just gets you there. Oberaigner developed a powerful selectable all-wheel drive concept for the Nissan Interstar, based on their decades of experience in the field of large-scale series production of all-wheel drive systems. The Oberaigner all-wheel drive is available for all variants of the Nissan Interstar with manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
Making progress at the touch of a button
The drive technology of the standard series vehicle is supplemented by the addition of a selectable all-wheel drive and a reduction stage 1:1.42 (off-road gear for particularly slow starts with heavy loads or on inclines). There is a control panel in the cockpit of the Nissan Interstar 4x4, developed by Oberaigner, to allow the activation of these transmission components at the push of a button.
Development at a high level
The particularly light and compact all-wheel drive system means that the extra weight of the vehicle (195 kg), and the increase in height of the vehicle (65 mm at the front and rear) are kept to a minimum. The benefits are a large payload and outstanding handling. The dynamic handling controls using ESP and ABS are retained in normal operation.
