The Optimisation Process

  • After this, the aggregate is dismantled into its individual components and produced according to the material
plans. These parts are then assembled to make the first functioning prototype.
  • The completed aggregate is finally built into a vehicle and/or checked for difficulties in the installation. After the first
test drive, all problems are documented and the blueprints are revised. Then, the components and the entire aggregate
are constantly optimised in an iterative process until satisfactory results are achieved, which are then sent in for testing.
  • After the design plans have been worked out in the development stage, in most cases a model is first made out of
paper, in order to test the construction dimensions and to develop a feel for the prototypes to be manufactured.
